Dental emergencies

A dental emergency rarely waits for Monday. Call 966 42 67 10 during opening hours, tell us what has happened, and we will say honestly when we can see you.

The first job in an emergency is to take the pain away and stabilise things. That is almost never the definitive treatment, and we say so: first you put the fire out, and once you are out of pain you decide calmly what should be done.

If a whole tooth has been knocked out, time genuinely matters. Keep the tooth in milk or saline, never scrub it clean, and call immediately. A tooth replanted within the first hour has a real chance.

We see emergencies for people who are not regular patients too. Several people have driven in from outside Dénia for this and then stayed, but that is up to them: in an emergency the only thing that matters to us is that you leave without pain.
